PHP is my go-to language for any web project, it is fast, powerful & flexible.
It has a bad reputation due to pre 5 versions but PHP 7 is now faster & better than ever.
I'm not a fan of most PHP framework, that's why I started mine but still I've 6 Month XP with Symfony, 3 Month with Magento.

For five years, I've used C++ for every software group school project but alone. Before I learned Go, C++ was my default language for anything software related, even scripting. Now I use C++ only for great occasions. It might seem old & low level but modern c++ has a lot to offer for anything big or low level.

Go is a powerful modern software language I started using in 2016.
For anything scripting or system, Go would probably be my first choice.

Modern vanilla Javascript is web language I use quite a lot. I've already use Jquery, Angular & NodeJS in the workplace but I prefer PHP.

I'm not a front end developer but I know how to do almost everything with HTML 5 & CSS. I don't use LESS or SCSS, only CSS 3.
I've got learning's tree HTML 5 & responsive design certification.
